Levite SiteAudit

Free website audit and SEO checker

Enter a page address. We read it the way a crawler does and report what we measured, with evidence and fixes for every finding.

Public pages only. Audits usually take 20 to 90 seconds.

What this website audit checks

The audit reads the HTML your server returns, your robots.txt and sitemap, a sample of linked pages, and (when configured) Google PageSpeed Insights data. Each finding shows the evidence we found, why it matters and how to fix it.

Technical SEO

Status codes, redirects, HTTPS, canonical tags, robots rules, sitemaps, hreflang and indexability.

On-page SEO and content

Titles, meta descriptions, headings, word count, readability, duplication and trust signals such as authorship and dates.

Performance

Lighthouse lab results and real-user Core Web Vitals from PageSpeed Insights, kept clearly separate, plus server response time.

AI search readiness

AEO, AIO and GEO checks for question structure, direct answers, entity markup, crawler access and business details.

Accessibility and mobile

Alt text, form labels, accessible names, landmarks, viewport and zoom settings.

Security

Mixed content, HSTS, Content-Security-Policy and other headers, reported separately from SEO.

How the scores work

Scores run from 0 to 100: 90 and above is excellent, 75 to 89 is good, 50 to 74 needs improvement and below 50 is critical. Every score is built from documented checks with published weights. If a data source is unavailable, the score says so instead of showing a made-up number.

AEO, AIO, GEO and SXO scores are calculated by our own methodology from measurable website signals. They are not official scores issued by Google, OpenAI, Anthropic, Microsoft, Perplexity or any other search or AI platform. Read the full methodology.

Frequently asked questions

What is a website audit?

A website audit is a structured review of a site's technical health, content, usability, performance and security. It lists what works, what is broken and what to fix first. This tool audits the page you enter and samples up to 20 linked pages for site-level issues such as duplicate titles and broken links.

What is an SEO audit?

An SEO audit focuses on the factors that affect how search engines crawl, index and understand a page: status codes, robots rules, canonical tags, titles, headings, content, internal links, structured data and page speed. The goal is to remove anything that stops good content from being found.

What does an SEO score mean?

Our SEO score is a weighted summary of the individual checks in this report, from 0 to 100. It shows how many measurable best practices the page follows, weighted by how much each one matters. It is not a Google metric and it does not predict a ranking position. Use it to prioritise fixes and to track progress over time.

What is AEO?

AEO stands for Answer Engine Optimization. It means structuring content so that answer engines, voice assistants and AI chat tools can find a clear, direct answer to a question and quote it. Typical signals are question-based headings, short answers placed right after each question, FAQ sections, definitions and lists.

What is AIO?

In this tool, AIO means readiness for AI-driven search features such as AI Overviews. We check signals that help machines read and attribute content: semantic HTML, entity markup, authorship, references, dates and crawler access. Google has said there are no extra technical requirements for its AI features beyond being indexed and eligible to appear with a snippet in Search, so good SEO remains the foundation.

What is GEO?

GEO stands for Generative Engine Optimization: making it easy for generative AI systems to understand who you are, what you offer and where you operate, so they can describe you accurately. The term was popularised by a 2023 research paper. We check organization identity, contact details, location signals, external profiles and consistency.

What is SXO?

SXO stands for Search Experience Optimization. It combines SEO with user experience: once someone arrives from search, can they navigate, read and act easily? We measure what can be measured automatically, such as navigation, calls to action, readability, mobile setup and speed, and flag the rest for manual review.

How is website health calculated?

Every check returns pass, warning or fail with recorded evidence. Checks are grouped into weighted components, components into category scores, and categories into the overall score. Checks we cannot measure are excluded rather than guessed, and a category with too little data shows as unavailable. The full model is published on our methodology page.

What is Domain Authority?

Domain Authority (DA) is a 1 to 100 score created by Moz that estimates how likely a domain is to rank compared with other domains, based mainly on its backlink profile. It is not a Google metric and Google does not use it. This tool only shows DA when a licensed provider API is connected; it never estimates the number itself.

Can this tool guarantee Google rankings?

No. No audit tool can guarantee rankings, traffic or visibility in AI answers. Search engines use many signals that no outside tool can see, and results change with competition and algorithm updates. An audit shows you measurable problems to fix, which removes obstacles; it does not promise a position.
